All City - 8th Graders only

Wesleyan Hockey Arena:  Wednesday, March 28, 6:00

The 7th Grade Band does not perform at All City

This is a mandatory performance for 8th graders. If your child absolutely cannot make it, please email me.

Students, please arrive at 5:15

(or earlier...parking can be very difficult)

Things you need to know

  • TICKETS ARE $7 EACH (children under five are free but still need a ticket). Checks should be made out to “Middletown High School”. Tickets for the performance can be purchased from me at school on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be purchased at the door, as well, but we strongly recommend that you purchase tickets in advance.

  • STUDENTS MUST BRING their instruments and music home after school. For the performance, just bring your instrument, your music, and an extra reed to the concert (no cases). Music stands will be provided.

  • Attire: WWMS polo shirts, black bottoms, black dress shoes.

  • Arrival time is 5:15.  We will warm up and tune up at 5:35 sharp.  Please be in your seats and ready for this. Warm up a little at home, first. Our warm up time is only 5 minutes, so get yourself in shape to play before you arrive.

  • Once the show starts at 6:00, there will be NO BATHROOM BREAKS.  Please plan accordingly.

  • NO CELL PHONES out during the concert.  If I see any cell phones out during any portion of the concert, students will lose 5 points off of their final grade for Quarter 3, and you will be on probation for the Six Flags trip. It is of the utmost importance that we be respectful to other groups while they are performing...just like we want them to be respectful towards us.

  • PARENTS/GUARDIANS must stay for the concert. You must have a parent or guardian that is responsible for you at the concert.

  • The entire concert will be OVER AT 7:30. I'm sorry, students will not be allowed to leave until Mr. Gaylord has dismissed Woodrow Wilson from the floor (unless your parents are picking up your sibling from an elementary group. In that case, when I see your parents, you can leave).
