Welcome to the
Woodrow Wilson Middle School
Band Program
Recordings
Below, you will find links to each of the pieces that we're working on. Listen to them as often as you'd like!! Not only will it help to hear how your part goes, but you'll be able to hear all of the other instruments and how your part fits in. The recordings are done by professionals, so you'll be able to hear all of the correct rhythms, dynamics, and articulations.
3 Steps to Success in only 15-20 minutes!!!
Here's a great way to practice your music. If you do this a couple times a week, you're sure to get really awesome at all of your pieces.
1. (3-5 minutes) Listen to the recording, while following along in your music. Circle parts you know you need work on.
2. (10 minutes) Practice on your own. Focus on the parts you circled while you were listening.
3. (3-5 minutes) Play the recording again, and play along with it. You might mess up on some parts, but it'll push you forward so you know what you still have to work on...and it's fun:)

It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.
