Holiday on Main - Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 23 - 8th Graders Only

Christmas Carols on Parade !!!

Participants will meet at Amato's on Main St. at 5:00 PM.  We will assemble with the MHS Marching Band, and when Santa is ready, we'll march to the South Green.  After escorting Santa to the green (where the MHS, WWMS, and Keigwin choruses will have already been singing carols), the MHS/WWMS band will turn around and march North down Main St. to provide music for the other tree lightings on Main St.

This event is not mandatory.  There is not enough time in our rehearsal schedule to learn marching band music and refresh ourselves on how to march.  All 8th graders, however, are welcome and encouraged to participate, if possible. 

 

For those who are interested, I will pass out music in class.  I will leave the decision of whether or not students will attend up to the families.
